Maximum versoria criterion applied to hybrid active noise control algorithm for the impulsive noise

چکیده
In the conventional hybrid active noise control (CHANC) algorithm, filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm is used in both feedforward and feedback structures. However, FXLMS does not process reference signal error before updating weight vector, which leads to inadequate robustness of CHANC impulsive environment. To solve this problem, maximum versoria criterion incorporated into HANC (MVC-HANC) paper. Firstly, MVC-HANC employs a novel nonlinear function compress signal. Secondly, proposed uses modified sigmoid constrain further improve attenuation performance, exponential adjust step-size adaptively. Simulation experiment results demonstrate that has better performance than algorithm.

Review of active noise control algorithms for impulsive noise control
Active noise control is gaining popularity in recent years. Especially, active control of impulsive noise is of great interest. Due to specific nature of such noise, standard approach to active control is not satisfying. This paper reviews existing algorithms specifically developed for impulsive noise control. Performance of the algorithms is verified using computer simulations and several nois...
متن کاملActive Control of Impulsive Noise
This report presents about the comparison of the performance among four different adaptive algorithms for suppressing impulsive noise. They are filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm, least mean M-estimate (LMM) algorithm, filtered-x least mean M-estimate (FXLMM) algorithm, and a modified FXLMM algorithm. A designed noise, which is composed of impulsive noise and background noise, is us...
متن کاملAn Efficient Algorithm for Active Noise Control
Active noise control (ANC) systems have been increasingly researched and developed [1]. The use of the modified filtered-x structure for ANC using finite impulse response (FIR) adaptive filtering [2] will be assumed in the rest of this paper (Fig. 1). The multichannel versions of the filtered-x least-mean-square (FX-LMS) and the modified FX-LMS (MFX-LMS) algorithms are the benchmarks to which m...
متن کاملA new efficient filtered-x affine projection sign algorithm for active control of impulsive noise
Impulsive noise is often encountered in the practical active noise control (ANC) applications. Traditional ANC algorithms fail to control such noise. Derived by minimizing the l1 norm of an estimated a posteriori error vector, a new filtered-x affine projection sign algorithm (NFxAPSA) is proposed to efficiently and effectively suppress impulsive noise. Two typical extensions, such as variable ...
متن کاملModified Filtered-x Affine Projection Sign Algorithm for Active Control of Impulsive Noise
For active noise control problems, when noise sources are contaminated by impulsive noise, the classic FxLMS converges slowly or even diverges. In order to effectively control such impulsive noise sources, by minimizing the L1-norm of an error vector, a modified filteredx affine projection sign algorithm (MFxAPSA) has been proposed. An exact efficient implementation can greatly reduce its numbe...
